Works good until your fire your weapon, light then stops working. Laser continues to work but I wonder how long.
I purchased this for my XD40 and thought I had the perfect combo, I don't
want to think about needing this one night only to find it no longer works.
Poor Product

The Rich L. nailed it - it won't stay on the gun! Not much else matters if an aiming device won't stay with the firearm. I really can't afford Aimpoint or Trijicon quality right now, but I guess I'll have to wait until I can. Cheap aiming devices are just that...
Not Suitable For Large Bore Firearms

Looking for an alternative to the very expensive ($250) brand name combo tac light/laser units, I purchased the LT-TLP28 for my Springfield XD .45 semiauto, with 5" barrel. The laser was non-operative out of the box. The second unit would not stay mounted - the Picatinny mount of the unit lacks cross bars to fit into the cross slots on the gun's mounting rails, so it would fly off from the gun's recoil. I resolved this using friction tape (leaves a sticky mess, though, when the unit is removed from the gun). However, the rotary switch went bad and I returned the unit for a third one. The rotary switch was bad out of the box. The fourth unit would not stay put on the rails of the gun, and after about 30 firings, the rotary switch went bad.
