I liked that they had 2 screws on the bottom clamp, 4 screws on top, and they just looked heavy duty. There may be rings that look prettier but I doubt there are any that are stronger. This was the first scope I have mounted and these rings gripped onto the groove in the receiver perfectly and the scope fit into the rings with no problem. It is a rock-solid installation. After nearly 1000 rounds through the rifle the scope has not budged. I'm glad I chose the high rings instead of the medium to get extra clearance to operate the bolt.

If you have short finger nails, the hardest part of the whole installation is getting the staple out of the plastic package. Got my Wally World 40x3x9 Bushnell Scope in rings, set it on top of rifle, tightened 4 allen screws. Clears very high rear peep with 1/8" to spare. 40mm objective clears with gobs of space. Very well made and easy to install. Can't believe these are only nine bucks!!!!!!!!!!! Exceeded expectations!!!!!!!
