I have used laser sights in the past that cost more than this one. The dot at 100 yards was 5 inches. This laser sight is perfect. It is laser pointer quality. It will project a round neat dot of about 3mm. easily seen by you but not by your target. This unit is small and will attach anywhere on your rifle or pistol. The length is about 1.5 inches. Comes complete with mount, click on and off tail cap, pressure switch and batteries. Uses AG13 batteries. Battery life is forever, almost. 2 months and still haven't changed batteries. The finish is anodized so no scratching or discoloration. I have even used this as a bore sighter for my Mossberg 500. The price is right the quality is exceptional. You should be paying $100.00 for this laser unit, but you don't have to at Optics planet.

The Leapers laser sight came complete with batteries, tools to mount, instructions. The laser spot is extremely bright, the windage and elevation adjustments made zeroing it in a piece of cake, it is compact, not bulky, and the machining is first rate. For my Mossberg 500 it is perfect.

I finally got a chance to take it to the range today and boy, I had a lot of fun.
The unit came in 3 days after order was placed. It was nicely wraped and packaged. I had the unit installed to my XD9 without even look at the manual. I had it adjusted/aligned to my gun sight in no time.
I am happy with sensitivity of the pressure switch. The red dot is bright enough to see it over 15 yard range (in door rane). I had two problems with this unit. One is that the aim will kept aligned for about 7 shots, then it starts peer off to the right. But it's very easy to adjust. After a few times, all I do is turn about a quarter CW to make it realgin. I just hope this won't get worst to a condition that will need to be realigned after every shot. Second problem is that I found it will turn off by itself (it was about 40 munites into shooting, but keep in mind that I used pressure switch, so the laser was constantly on). At first, I found the end cap was lossen due to the vibration, but then ...

The Leaper UTG Next Gen laser is a very basic, if also rather small red laser. It comes with the small waver/pic mount and a curly cable remote switch.
- Very easy to mount
- Two set screws for elevation and windage (inset allen heads)
- Remote cable seems flimsy. Not as flimsy as the terrible Ultrafire remote cord I got for my G2, but I'm not sure how long it would hold up
- "Comes" with 4-LR44 batteries for the unit (nice). However, they were nearly dead almost unable to make more than a weak red dot on the wall at 10' in low light. Sigh. Had to go down to the local Shack to buy 4 more. If you are going to sell something with batteries, the batteries should work.
