I bought this honestly because it looked decent, I wanted a light and laser, and it was cheap. Everyone knows the saying "you get what you pay for," and this is a shining example (no pun intended). The battery life is terrible (I took it shooting at night and it lasted about an hour), the construction is cheap, the laser doesn't hold on target by a long shot (another pun not intended), the pressure switches and the push buttons are useless, and if it gets ANY water on it, you're screwed. If you want something that looks cool on an assault rifle, and you aren't thinking about actually USING it or DEPENDING on it, this is a decent option for your money. Otherwise, get something else. I removed the laser from the P.O.S. to use with my cat, threw the rest away, and bought a Streamlight TLR-1. The other reviewers seem thrilled with the UTG flashlight, which tells me they haven't used it.

I'm impressed with the construction of the unit as it's one piece of Aircraft Grade Aluminum. The only part that is removable is the red laser.

I've wanted this light for a few months and I was waiting for someone else to buy it try it first, but no body ever reviewed it so I bought it. I put this light/laser on my AR15 pistol and it works great. I put about 150 rounds through the gun with this setup and it's worked fine. The light is bright and works great. The laser is not that great-its not a fine, solid beam, it has a lot of "splash" around the laser. Both the light and laser come with an optional pressure pad that allows you to choose to use for just one or both, though I only use it for the laser. Weight wise, it's a little heavy, but not too bad, it's just more noticeable on the smaller AR pistol. The mount is really sturdy and has two large screws/bolts that it uses to tighten onto my rail sytstem. Overall very good setup for the money with the option to use either the light, laser, or both or none whenever you want.
