Leapers UTG Tactical Quad Rail System

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, CA Written on March 11, 2012
Overall excellent product for the money. Easy to set up and is well built. It is a little on the heavy side though. But I guess what can you expect from a well constructed rail system!! Would definitely buy it again.
Pros: Good quality and well built for way less than others.
Cons: A little on the heavy side. ...

Leapers UTG Model 4 Mid Length Tactical Quad Rails with Zero Retention Design MNT-T416MA

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on March 7, 2011
I bought this rail system for my rra mid-length ar-15. For the price, I would have to say nothing else compares to it. The quality and fit is amazing. Literally took me less than five minutes to put it on and once it's on it stays on. Shot close to 1000 rds on my ar-15 with this and no wobbles or signs of the product loosening up. I would highly recommend this product if you are on a budget and wish to add a great piece of accessory on your gun. The only issue I found is the weight. Personally, I like the added weight, but my wife complains about how much heavier the gun has got.
Pros: Excellent fit and quality for it's value.
Cons: Heavy and Slightly bulgy with the included rail covers...

UTG Quad Rail For Hungarian AMD-65 AK-47

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, FL Written on February 7, 2011
Bought this rail for my Hungarian AMD-65 AK-47 and couldn't be happier. Good solid fit and construction of the the UTG rail. Now I have more setup variations for my AK-47. Came with installation instructions that state no "gunsmithing required" but I still let my gunsmith install, and even he commented on the fit and quality of the rail. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Quality & Fit
Cons: None...

Leapers UTG Tactical Quad Rails

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on April 12, 2010
I needed a rail for a budget AR build that I did. This gun is kind of my beater that I use for varmint hunting, and target shooting. I didn't want to spend too much money, but I did need a rail to mount my bipod on. The Leapers UTG Tactical Quad Rail is definitely the best bang for your buck. It installs easily(especially with a handguard removal tool). The quality seems very good for the price, and all my accessories fit on it. The only bad thing I can say about the UTG Rail is that it's a little heavy, but in comparison The Midwest Industries midlength rail weighs in only 2.8oz less at 12.4oz, and the Yankee Hill Free Float weighs 2.3oz more at 17.5oz. So I guess the UTG could be considered in the ballpark weight of the other higher priced rails.
Pros: Great Price & Works Well
Cons: A little heavy...

Great Deal!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, AR Written on February 4, 2010
I bought this to put on an Armalite M4. The fit is good. I had it installed in about 2 minutes. My need for it was to mount a flip up front sight, fore grip and light. This is a great deal for someone who doesnt want to spend a ton a money on accessories.
Pros: great fit and price
Cons: a little heavy...

Leapers/UTG quad rail for M4/AR15 carbine

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on January 15, 2010
Installation of the Leapers/UTG quad rail on my Bushmaster ORC was relatively easy and straightforward. The machining seems to be decent quality. The included rail covers were a plus. I didn't have a handguard removal tool, so the most difficult part of the installation was removing the factory plastic handguard. The Leapers quad rail went on with very little effort without the need for a handguard removal tool(seemed almost too easy), but the resulting fit was very snug with very little play. This is my first quad rail so I have nothing to compare it to, but I am happy with my purchase.
Pros: price, quality machining, good fit, includes rail covers
Cons: none so far...
