Pros:  Superior optics, ease and speed of use, usable range, small size, rugged construction
Cons:  Will not switch between yards and meters like old LRF series, price

It is very simple, there is only one button, push it once and a small red square reticle appears, push it again and it tells you how far away the object in the reticle is. Ranged another pine in winter at 1320yds. Very quick response but hit or miss depending on reflectivity and aim. Bright crisp display. Easy one handed use but you might need to brace on something solid. Repeated rangings give slightly different values so not as accurate as the Swarovski but the funtionality is superior.
