Best I've ever owned

by Dano, from United States, TN Written on February 24, 2015
Thought I had a good pair of binoculars until I bought these for my wife to watch birds and deer with on our farm.
The light gathering properties of the 50mm lens is fantastic in near dark use. Now we fight over who gets to use
the the Mojave's. My old ones that I thought were good cost 1/2 again as much but can't hold a candle to these.
Guess I'll have to get me my own pair of Mohave's 12x50's in the near future. At least before next hunting season....

BX3 Mojave 12x50 Binoculars

by PK, from United States, FL Written on January 10, 2015
These Binos lit up the woods for me this morning. hunting for the first time with my new Binos in southeast Alabama. I could make out deer perfectly 30min. Before sunrise, I was impressed by the light gathering and crisp image. They are everything I expected and more this morning 22 degrees and no fogging. I wear glasses and the eye cups accomadate them perfectly. The cups are two stage, similar locking. The magnification is awesome. They feel great in the hand and even one handed looking to the side or back. Can't go wrong with Leupold. I'm a happy hunter and will enjoy these for many years....
Pros:
  • magnification range
  • Ergonomics
  • the name
Cons:
  • none... yet
Best Used for:
  • Looking at things far away

First Elk hunt

by Mick, from United States, NE Written on November 8, 2014
These are very nice lightweight binoculars. My only problem was that they fogged up, I used them on an Elk hunting trip to Montana and after a run/stalk they fogged up when put to my eyes. Not sure why fog proof did that....
Pros:
  • light weight
Cons:
  • fog proof-failed

The only way to go.

Excellent optics. Put them to the test on a few week long excursions this year. I've never picked up a more clear optic for the price.
Pros: Easy to adjust, eye cups fit like a dream.
Cons: Not the gold ring....
