Leupold Green Ring 8x42 Pinnacles

Great glass for the money. Sharper and brighter than Nikon Monarch, Bushnell Legend, etc... Won't do better until you reach Pentax DCF SP. Then you get the edge sharpness that the Leupolds lack. Still a very good binocular, sharp, bright and clear.
Pros: Great handling very ergonomic.
Cons: Edge sharpness...

Pair from optics planet were damaged from factory (not OP fault). Due to time delay to return to OP plus the shipping fees, hand delivered to Leupold in Portland instead. They returned to me a brand new pair within a couple of days-this is the kind of service you can expect from them for the life of their stuff.
Pros: customer service at Leupold is the Best...

First the staff at optics planet is very knowledgeable and zeroed right in on the models I should look at.
These binos are clear, easy to use and are great for North Eastern hunters or birders.
Pros: clarity and value
Cons: none...

Excellent Hunting Binoculars

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on July 24, 2007
I bought these binoclars after a deer hunt with some large old nikon 7x50's. These rock for the money! I took them Elk hunting and found them to be the best when I compared them to what the other guys where using. I would buy them over and over again. The only issue is the eye cap covers they are a little slow to get off and without them the eyepieces get wet so its a trade off. Overall for $369 you just can't loose. Get them if you want a great pair of hunting binoculars!
Pros: Good Price, Excellent optics, Durable
Cons: Medium Sized, Lense caps a little tricky...
