I have used a lot of scope covers including the flip-up variety which I have on other scopes. The rubber seals are not made well so there is a risk of fogging. The threaded variety is simple, light and looks great. Just unscrew them before the hunt and you are ready and do not have to worry about scope lids hitting your forehead or distracting you. There is a palce for both type though.
