Cons:  ball socket is to sensitive to movement, no handle adjustment
Would recommend:  no

I prefer a handle adjustment on a window mount. The handle gives you presise control when centering on your subject. The ball socket is very sensitive and the scope must be moved in position while holding the scope. Often your subject will be off center after tightening the lock screw.
