I have roughly 30 years of shooting/hunting experience and have tried many different ring/base combinations and I have found the dual dovetail be very solid, strong, and reliable. I have never had a scope come out of this type of set up! The Leupold dual dovetail rings have a very nice fit to finish and always look nice on my fine rifles. I have used them on everything from 223 to 458 Win Mag and have never had a single problem. I highly recommend these.
