Bought this for my DPMS 308 SASS & I love it. The glass is clear, the knobs arent too small/too big, & you can look at it and tell that its built with quality in mind. I mounted it with a Larue 20 MOA quick detach mount & it looks great! The Butler Creek covers that came with it wouldnt stay closed so I bought the Leupold Alumina ones and they are a great addition. Would definitely recommend this scope!

Very well made scope. I've been impressed for many years with the quality and attention to detail from Leupold and this scope is no different. It is very sharp and bright and the will re-zero every time. With the mil dot reticle the crosshairs are still fine enough in the center to see small targets clearly at long distances. I'm very pleased with the scope.

I put this scope on a stock Remi-700 in 308 and was hitting clay pigeons at 500yds using handloads first day testing. Do not let the price push you away, just save more, or sell something to afford this scope, it's worth every penny. Remember they don't put $1000.00 glass in $200.00 scopes. You get what yu pay for and this thing is tuff enough to be used as a hammer, clear enough to see facial expressions on people at almost 1/2 mile, and the turrets are easy to read and repeatable. After collecting data I can shoot from 100yds to 500yds with first round hits by simply adjusting the turrets, holding dead center on reticle, and pressing the trigger. Buy it.

Great Scope, i have it on a rem 700, .308 that i built and i primary use it for target and a bit of hunting. Crystal clear with a sharp retical, this scope excels at dawn and dusk with excellent low light brightness. tested the turrets out to 1000 yards and had a bullet on target second shot, returned it to zero at 100 and still dead on. a little pricey but i recommend it to any long range shooter.

This is not a front focal plane scope that requires testing for range estimation. Also requires good rings that have a windage adjustment on the rear base to get true with barrel.

Externally beautiful, having a flawless matte finish and perfect ergonomics, all controls work smoothly and accurately. All markings make sense; an intuitively easy scope to operate. The power range lends itself to varmint, predator, and high power target work. This is not a white tail or brush country scope, so know your needs before purchasing! Of equal importance is the SUPERIOR QUALITY of Optics Planet and its staff. Especially, Steve L., so if you want to learn - expert or novice alike - read his excellent blog and "How To Choose A Rifle Scope." I'm a customer for life.
