Hits 25 yards. Hits 400 yards. Great glass. Compact disign. Easy to mount. Looks great mounted on an AR-15. Crystal clear sights. Well built. I would highly recomend this scope.

Cons: It's going to cost you big $$$

I would recommend this optic combo for tactical use and possibly even hunting application. Very easy to transition between the scope and the reflex sight. There are 7 brightness setting with an "off" position in between each one to avoid cranking the selection knob to reach desired setting every time. Reflex sight is a red triangle and turns off automatically after one hour of no motion. Then turns back on after you mobilize it. It runs of off 2 3 volt watch like batteries. One for the reflex and one for the scope. The e reflex sight have a protective hood that is extremely rugged and impact resistant. These are very well designed and manufactured pieces of equipment. Stay on top of technological advancements in the firearms industry and buy yours while they are in stock.

Pros: Super clear and easy to lift head for red dot use
Cons: Don't lose that damn tiny torx wrench!
Would recommend: yes

4x scope is crystal clear. .223 calibrated range finding retical is very easy to read and does not look cramped. This is my first "horseshoe" set up and I can see why everyone likes them so much. I really like the fact that the horseshoe is illuminated and can be adjusted for several brightness levels or shut off all together. Another plus is having the Delta Point on top of the scope. Every easy to lift your head for red dot use then drop your cheek back down on the stock for scope use. I started with the EOTech and 3x magifier set up. It was cool, but this Leupold takes up less rail space and gives me more magnification power and I don't have to move anything to use both. Definately recommended.

This is an excellent sight, the reticle is clear and easy to use with or without the optional illumination. The optics are crystal clear, and once you find the best mounting point to get correct eye relief, the sight is very natural to use. With the addition of the optional reflex sight on top (I got the 7.5 MOA) you have the capability of rapidly engaging targets at long or short range. This is a great sight and I highly recommend it.

Bring the Leupold supplied micro torx wrench with you to the range, nothing else fits to make your sight adjustments. Once sighted in then forget everything. When you pick up your rifle the motion turns on the red dot,the scope is always on. If you want the illuminated reticle then an intuitive knob turns it on. There is an "off" function between each level of brightness so your usual level is always one click away. My nine year old daughter had it mastered in 30 seconds. I liked it so much I bought a second one a few weeks later.
