I would not spend alot of money on a scope without a high quality set of rings like the Mark 4 rings.

They aren't cheap but after you spent well over a thousand bucks on a Mark4 you don't want to lose Mark4 advantage when mounting this heavy scope in some cheaply made rings. In other words, if you don't want to spend money on tactical heavy duty rings don't buy the Mark 4 scope, go some lower price, less of a quality scope.

The guide recommended a size taller then needed. I'm going through Leupold to try to swap for correct size. At this price the product should meed most every expectation

Although a bit on the costly side, these rings get the job done. They are a perfect match for the Mark 4 scope. The best part is the ability to detach and retain a zero. This is the second set of Mark 4 rings that I have bought and am not disapointed. If you are going to spend the amount for a quality optic, don't skimp on the hardware to connect it.
