Another store had the 1" mounts and so I got it mounted on the gun, and it *just* fit between the buis components. So close it scrapes the real sight when not locked in. (I'll be removing that tonight). So I had to figure out at the range the elevation and L/R clicks, and nothing in the hated little manual helped. It was experimenting until I did get it centered for 100 yards, and then the gun was just stupid accurate. In retro, I should have gone with the 50, but it's all a matter of $$$ :) I'm plenty happy with this bad boy and have a Vortex Red Dot mounted on top of the scope. For those interested, look at TNVC for one of those mounts. It was pretty hard for me to find.
