I've used these rings on other guns and have never had an issue with them. Living in Alaska with all hunts being in fly-in remote locations, and traveling to other parts of the country and world, I learned from a friend's hard luck, that if you do not have open sights on a rifle, you had btter at least take an extra scope. I always take the scope mounted on my rifle with Leupold Quick Release Rings and Base along with another scope with these quick release rings. Both scopes are sighted in on that rifle and it only takes a few seconds to replace scopes if needed. There is virtually no change in impact point with these rings and bases, and I always shoot to check them out at all ranges up to 600 yds using a ballistic reticle on my scope. I've busted two scopes hunting and these rings and bases salvaged both hunts.
Pros: Everything about these rings would be a Pro comment
