by Major Hunter, from United States, TX Written on August 26, 2014
Put these Rings on My Ruger Mini 30 and worked great so I can pull scope of and on to still use my open sights. Locked on tight , with ease of operation. Finish matched rifle also. Would be great on any gun with rail mount....
Pros:
  • easy to use
Cons:
  • None for my uses of product.
Best Used for:
  • Pictiny Rail

If want a zero every time, these are the rings for you. Just make sure to lock them in forward of the slot. And mark the two rails the rings set into and your in business.

Good set of rings

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on February 7, 2014
Nice set of rings. Used them on a Mosin Nagant in an Archangel stock using a Hi-Lux 2x7 LER scope. The rings keep the scope stable even after many rounds. The lever to tighten the scope is a little hard to use to get the tings tight to the rail. A piece of masking tape an a small box end wrench easily solved the problem for me.
Pros: Solid. Easy to mount.
Cons: A liitle hard to tighten...

Leupold Quick Release Weaver Style Rings

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, TX Written on November 23, 2013
I have 2 scopes for my Savage 16 chambered for 300 AAC Blackout. One scope is zeroed for subsonic ammo and the other for near max supersonic loads. These rings return scopes to zero 98% of the time. One cold bore shot at range verifies zero.
Pros: Returns scope to original zero.
Cons: NONE...

Fell apart after first use

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, TX Written on August 17, 2013
When mounted it works fine. The levers to tighten the mount rattle. The first time I took the scope off the rifle the piece of metal that fits into the rifle's Weaver slots fell out. It was really fun trying to put the scope back on the rifle holding it upside down. These are going back to Leupold. Stick with the Mark 4 rings.
Pros: Solid when mounted (just don't take them off).
Cons: The rail is a seperate peice of metal that falls out. The levers rattle....

Leupold QRW scope rings

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, NY Written on July 6, 2013
I have been using these on a sporterized GEW 98 Mauser with a Redfield 6x18x44 Revenge and Ken Farrell base. The scope is heavy (30 oz) and this gun kicks. After about 200 heavy rounds, the scope adjustments has not moved and QR levers have not loosened. Thus far, a rock solid setup.

The trick to getting the rings on the tube is to put two drill bits or other hardened rods in the ring cap screw holes and squeeze them together slightly expanding the cap.
Pros: Very solid, stable mounts
Cons: A bit tricky to get on the scope tube but managable....

Fast and simple installation. These QR rings hold zero very well and puts your mind at ease while transporting your scoped rifle. Never worry about your scope getting knocked around again!...
