Great Quality for The money

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MD Written on March 22, 2012
This is first set of quality Binos I have owned, Previsouly owned just the entry level Bushnells which are atleast funtional, First thing I noticed with these Leupolds is that the eye lenses are about twice the size as the cheap Binos, this makes it much easier to obtain focus. The 2nd thing I noticed is that the leupolds are allowing about 20% more light transmission that my cheapos. Also the eye cups are rounded to fit into your eye sockets which makes centering these between your eyes instantanous and effortless. The clarity is excellent, I can see flys above a tree from 1000 ft away. I also wanted a set of waterproof binos so they could go anywhere. The only downside is that these are a little large but maybe that means better performance. Spend the extra money to get good binos like these, it is worth it.
Pros: Great Clarity & Light Transmission
Cons: Bulky...

Not Made In Oregon!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WA Written on February 17, 2011
I had thought all Leupold products were produced in the US. I will seriously rethink any future Leupold purchase until I determine it's origin of manufacture.
Pros: Inexpensive and good quality
Cons: Made In China...
