This ARD works well when installed on my rimfires. It is secure in the scope and does not make a noticeable difference in brightness or clarity. I put it on a .223 rifle and the recoil caused it to loosen from the objective bell and misalign. Think dark view through scope. If this was screw in, as I thought until I received it, it would be great.
