Pros: Strong scope mounting system
Cons: None
Would recommend: yes

Great rings. STD rings allowed 42mm objective lens (1.99in outside diameter) to fit well. There is about 3/16in between barrel and scope. If you do not have a scope mounting kit then a 3/4in deep well socket with extension works very well for installing the front ring on mount. This was also the best price I could find.
Good, not great rings

Pros: Exudes quality.
Cons: Not as strong as dual-dovetails, easily nicked.
Would recommend: yes

These are easy to booger up so be careful turning them into the base. Leupold's ring wrench is non-essential but helps.

Pros: Grip on scope tube, finish, aesthetics
Would recommend: yes

Very good quality rings. I had troubles with my former Weaver hasp-style rings. They kept allowing the scope to slide forward. With these Leupold rings, I haven't had a moment's trouble out of them. The only negative thing I have to say is that the front ring was a VERY tight fit in the front mount hole. Had to use an aluminum pipe and a lot of elbow grease to get the ring swung into place and straight.

Used set of super high rings to mount scope on Mauser 98 with 2PC base set. A great solid well made product at a good price. Leupold ring selection tool makes selecting parts for mounting a snap
