Simply solid...

by Prgrin, from United States, AR Written on April 7, 2015
Great rings at a great price and I use Leupold bases and rings on all my rifles and muzzle loaders. Properly installed these units will not move during recoil. Installation is fairly easy but requires a little grunt on the front ring....
Pros:
  • Inexpensive
  • made in the usa
  • solid
Cons:
  • None

  • Hunting/Target

Great product

by Leupold Rings Review, from United States, VA Written on April 2, 2015
Great product! All other base and rings from other companies besides Leupold have been 100% inferior to the quality and durability that this product and all other Leupold base and rings stand for. Completely recommend this product!...

Mount rings are perfect.

by Duke, from United States, MN Written on March 25, 2015
Perfect and easy to use. A little tough if you don't have a wooden dowel rod. But luckily enough I had a 1" dowel to turn them into the base. Just make sure your get them straight.REALLY REALLY SNUG FIT. Don't be alarmed if it feels like your gonna break it....

Leupold Rings

by Will, from United States, TX Written on March 9, 2015
The rings are strong and priced right. They will serve as the platform for my new rifle/scope combination when I go hunting this fall. I have several Leupold scopes and Leupold rings they are trustworthy. I have always trusted Leupold products and these do not disappoint. Why buy anything else?...

Good product

by Bill, from United States, FL Written on February 19, 2015
These are top quality product. Worked well on my BAR. I wish I had a ring wrench to install them with but was able to make do with the tools I had. Have enough "resistance" to ensure they are not shifting....

There's a reason they're the gold standard....

by LipschitzWrath, from United States, WY Written on January 26, 2015
There's a reason why this brand is what all others are judged against when it comes to mounts and rings. They're very solid and the machining is excellent. Pro tip: resist the temp Tatian to put the front ring on your scope and use the scope for leverage to turn the front ring into its base. If the ring is tight, like mine was, all that you are likely to accomplish is to crush the tube on your expensive scope. A lapping bar would be best. I did not have the correct size bar available so I took a tip from a friend and used the plastic end of w screwdriver. Just try to find the closest size handle you can....

These are the best rings for accuracy

by Wilddog45, from United States, MO Written on January 17, 2015
I use these rings on a two piece base and although you have to align them they are adjustable for the best accuracy. Get the alignment kit which also contains a ring lapper and you will find that these will hold zero better than anything on the market....

Leupold - No Better System

by Dirty Harry, from United States, UT Written on January 12, 2015
Initially using this system, first known as the Redfield system, from the early'70s, it is the very best for accuracy.
For many years I used this system on all my rifles and never, ever lost accuracy even after serious drops and falls in the field. I have installed this system on everthing including the Weatherby 460. In my opinion, all other mounting systems are inferior to the Leupold Dovetail System - Bar None!!!...
