Review: Leupold VX-II 3-9x40mm Riflescope
Upon first viewing thru this variable power riflescope, one immediately notices its clarity, superior edge to edge sharpness, and high brightness. I’ve also chosen it for its inherent versatility, and have used it initially to break in a new bolt-action rifle. With its matte black finish, the VX-II 3-9x40mm now sits handsomely on my AR-15.
This scope is light and compact, yet its ruggedness also serves it well. Very user-friendly with 1/4 moa windage and elevation click adjustment dials, it’s quick and easy to field adjust and allows for precise zeroing – and the zero holds tight.
With so much junk on the market in this popular variable power category, it’s refreshing to use a quality riflescope at a fair price. Considering Leupold’s lifetime warranty, this scope will continue to see a lot of hard duty. I’m confident that it will hold up to the high volume shooting on the schedule. Buy quality and expect it to last a lifetime!
