nice scope

by Sean, from United States, FL Written on February 23, 2015
Nice optics fits on a Rem 700 SA with Talley extra low mounts. Nice and low and no problem with bolt clearance. Plenty of eye relief. Was looking at VX-2's but came across a deal that convinced me to step up a notch. Very happy so far....

Cons:
  • none for me

Excellent!!

by Grizzled Blaster, from United States, WA Written on February 12, 2015
Mounted this on my Whitworth 375 H&H with Leupold QR rings. It's light, compact, very clear and bright with generous eye relief. I've owned many Leupold products over the years and have not had a problem with any of them, guess that's why I keep buying them....

Leupolds's on my Kimber Rifles

by Papa, from United States, CA Written on January 17, 2015
I prefer to shoot lighter, well balanced Rifles - Kimber 84's are my favorites. This model of Leupold fits perfectly - complementing the lines of the rifle and maintaining its natural balance. The magnification ranges allows me accurate shot placement out to 250 - 300 yards. I have never had a problem with any of the 8 Leupold Rifle Scopes I own. I also highly recommend the Leupold Flip back lens covers - a little expensive - but they do work great and you can quickly get you scope on line when needed....

The Best Hunting Scope

by Crusher, from United States, NM Written on December 24, 2014
Maybe not the best in any one category, but it does so many things well that in my opinion this is the best choice for a general hunting riflescope. It is trim, light, reliable, backed by the best warranty in the industry, has great light transmission, definition, eye relief and doesn't break the bank. It is also subjectively a beautifully crafted scope that looks good on any rifle-- no accident that these show up on a lot of expensive custom rifles. Made in the USA is a good thing, too.

I was tempted by Meopta and Zeiss, and of course they build great glass, but to me look like stovepipes giving a light, trim rifle an industrial look and feel. The fact that I don't need extension rings to get proper eye relief on my Ruger No. 1 with this scope was an added bonus....

One of the very best scopes I've ever purchased. Very clear optics and magnification will be used for hunting and target shooting on a Winchester Model 70 Rifle chambered in 7mm (7.57 Mauser.
Made so the scope can be mounted low on the rifle and very compact....

Great scope that will not disappoint. Leopold has by far the best value in scopes. This is my 5th leupold scope and I have never been disappointed. They are very dependable have high qualtiy optics and features that are often found on scopes costing much more. The price and service from Optics planet was great as usual...

Leupold quality, as always

by Bighorn, from United States, CO Written on August 29, 2014
Leupold scopes are in my opinion the absolute best value for the money available.
Use them on rifles up to and including .300 and .375 magnum caliber rifles, with no failures whatsoever.
The Duplex reticles are clearly seen even in low-light conditions, and visibility in poor light is exceptional.
I would recommend Leupold VX3 variables for almost any application....
