I have used this lens for a number of years with an epi-fluor adapter. I recently figured out how to make my own Hoffman Modulation Contrast filters out of slide film and was able to insert it into the back of this lens; its working out well. I decided to get another 30w for routine work. This is a very sharp lens and is a bargain.

An excellent objective at a very reasonable price. Ideal for amateur microscopists and presumably useful for professionals too.
