Got this for a 30-06. Size your case and insert into tool. It tells you right away if you need to trim. No need to check each case with calipers. You do need a bright light and a straight edge to see if the case neck is high or low.

Full length resized...then I testes a 100 final loads and found about 10 where the shoulder wasn't in spec. These were ONCE fired so I pulled them and resized them...still out of spec...so in the recycle bin they went. Its nice to have this guage to check the final loads.
