Cons:  minor job to install on AR-10, barrell nut is larger

This is more than enough to spend on a quad rail, to replace your plastic handguards. I installed item on a DPMS ORACLE 7.62x51. The barrell nut is a little bit larger in diameter, I used a dremel tool, with a grinding wheel to take some material off of rail. The fit is fine, I will be doing this again for some friends. No reason to spend more on one designed for AR-10.
