Mako pistol grip bipod

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on January 29, 2012
I wanted a bipod for my strykeforce crossbow. most bipods fold one way or another which is ok for a rifle. I wanted to eliminate any more front end weight because crossbows are heavy up there and not have anything too close to the cables and string for fear of an accident or interference. The Mako is the ticket because my xbow has a rail system. There is also one with a light holder. I'm not sure what kind of fire arm could use a pistol grip, light and bipod but if you want it, optics planet has it for the best price and they ship fast. I also bought Leuopold Binoculars from them. After shopping around, they had the best price again.
Pros: Heavy, well made, makes people say whoa!!
Cons: zero...

Mako Knows How To Make A Great Product

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on March 6, 2011
As long as you remember this is not a rigid tripod and intend to use it on a long distance rifle, you'll be happy. This grip is for tactical rifles and it only helps to create a temporary rest for "front heavy" tac-rifles. Plus its another way to keep your weapon out of the mud and sand.
Pros: Diameter of handle is perfect for large/gloved hands. Pressure pad recesses on both sides of handle with tight fitting covers.
Cons: The legs are difficult to retract and sometimes requires 2-hands. Is heavy; expect added weight....
