Best backpack I ever had.

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on March 6, 2013
I did a lot of research before buying this backpack. I was afraid it would be too large, because the pictures made me think it was slightly larger than it actually is. The main compartment is large enough to fit my 14 inch laptop and a large portfolio notebook (plus a little more), which is just big enough.

It's extremely well made, and I can tell that this will last me for decades.
Pros: Very durable, lightweight, tough
Cons: None...

Great ruck

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on January 27, 2013
Got this pack after buying an inferior, similar pack from a competing site. The inferior pack fell apart in matter of months after regular use, which was carrying lite equipment and the occasional ruck run. Then I bought this Maxped ruck from OP. It's a fantastic piece of kit at a great price. This pack is very reliable for day to day schlepping to carrying range gear and ammo. It'll last you for years. Good investment.
Pros: Awesome all round pack

bombproof backpack

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WA Written on January 27, 2013
The back pack is rugged, but comfortable to wear, the construction is second to none. A great bag for everyday use. If you plan on carrying a laptop make sure it isnt in the 15inch range because it is a tight fit.
Pros: quality and construction is excellent. By far the most durable backpack I have ever purchased
Cons: smaller than I thought it would be. I have a 15 1/2 inch laptop and it barely fits in the main compartment....

You get what you pay for

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on January 10, 2013
Top quality zippers, stitching and comfort. Perfect size for my needs as a vehicle BOB. Plenty of molle attachment points and compartments. I have plenty of cheap bags. Maxpedition is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I have other Maxped gear and have never been disappointed. I usualy regret my cheap purchases and end up buying quality later, having wasted my $ on the cheap goods. save yourelf the aggravation and buy quality the first time. Now, if I can continue to follow my own advice in the future...
Pros: Absolute top quality
Cons: none...

Quality Day Pack

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, AK Written on December 9, 2010
I've owned many back packs over the years. Right now, I own three: a Deuter, a Northface, and a Maxpedition. By far, the stitching and sturdiness awards go to the Maxpedition. Don't get me wrong, I love, love my Deuter pack, but for a daypack, the Maxpedition rules. For me, the philosophy of use for an EDC/daypack requires it to be very sturdy because it will get used a lot. I can see from a short period of owning it that it will last a long time.
Pros: Sturdy Construction & Excellent Stitching
Cons: Cost...

Maxpedition Condor-II

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on May 20, 2010
I work a 24 hour shift, so I purchased the Condor-II as an overnight backpack to take to work. Upon delivery, I was pleased with my purchase. Like all Maxpedition products, it was slightly smaller than I had anticipated, but not so much so that I would be unhappy. I am able to easily fit an extra set of clothes, some snacks, a toiletry bag, and other edc items with some room to spare. About the only thing that I would like to see is some compartmentalization in one of the outside pockets, although this is not critical for my needs, it could make storage of my edc items a little better organized. Overall I am very pleased with the Condor-II, and will purchase other Maxped products in the future. Optics Planet was great also, fast delivery using standard ups, and no hangups. Thanks.
Pros: quality, durability, versatility
Cons: not much compartemtalized (sp?) storage....
