I bought this for my little third grader because he is interested in science. The package comes with some wonderful features and is a real great value! We have had no problems whatsoever. There's nothing more important than the education of your child. I'm also considering picking another one up as a Christmas gift for my nephew.
My son loves it!

I couldn't agree more! I bought this microscope starter kit for my son for his birthday, and he hasn't stopped "playing" with it since he got it! He loves looking at all kinds of different stuff, and the microscope is easy enough for a small child to use (once given instruction), but it's also sophisticated enough that adults can have a good time "researching," too! There is certainly nothing juvenile about the image and magnification quality of this microscope! Who knows-- maybe my son has found his calling in the laboratory!!
perfect for the classroom

My students use these microscope sets during their biology unit in class. They absolutely love them, they're simple, easy to use, and have a very clear magnification. The test averages have been much higher ever since we started teaching with these microscope sets. They actually make kids want to learn!
great gift

I got this microscope for my daughter for her birthday. Ever since they learned about cells in school she has asked me to buy her a microscope so she could do "research" as she calls it. She has been looking at cells of different leaves, human tissue, and anything else she finds around the house.
I'm just a happy mom who loves to see her daughter spend so much time on something besides tv and video games.
