Pros: Optics are clear and focus well, good light transmission and field of vision
Cons: Kinda fragile - don't drop it! When folded straight (as shown) image is upside down - you have to rotate it to the 90° postition to right the image.
Would recommend: yes

Optics are clear and bright (although the prisms are plastic), and it focuses clearly and quickly by rotating the eyepiece. I gave it to my son and he dropped it and one the prisms came loose. I had to take the cover off and put it back in position. The plastic prism was held to the frame (the part with the pivot) with some sort of glue and the impact had detached it. I ended up fixing it by filling the back of the case part with modeling clay to hold the prism in position and reassembling the case (you have to glue the case seam back together also since its only held on by one screw at the hinge part). After that fix its been just great. For the money its hard to beat - just be gentle with it!
