We started to buy one of these and were very impressed. Came on time and was a good binocular altogether. They were very bright and clear, and very light and easy to hold. Greasy lenses (from inside), prisms out of allignment - impossible to focus, cheap and bad design, made by who knows who. Obviously, Meade doesn't have any quality control. Throwing it in trash was cheaper then sending it back. If you buy one from Walmart, you can have it at least replaced for free.
