I have long wanted to purchase an astronomy camera but never got around to saving up for one, until now! The Meade Deep Sky Imager Pro is amazing. I am so glad I splurged on this camera-- the images it has produced are absolutely outstanding!!! A must for photograph/astronomy enthusiasts.

Meade Deep Sky Imager PRO as a good DSO imager

Pros:  Plenty of sensitivity, Easy to mount
Cons:  Small sensor makes mag too high. Dirt spots on sensor cover.

This camera is used on a Meade LX200R-8. The first thing I noticed was the very high mag due to a small sensor and the f/10 scope. It can be tamed down by using an Orion 0.5x focal reducer screwed directly into the snout like a filter. The dirt problem can be cleaned off using alcohol and Q-tips but be very careful.
