The GPS feature only works in very wide open areas, and the software does not allow you to put in exact coordinates (only City/State) when the internal GPS fails to note where the 'scope is. Without exacting coordinates and other issues finding North/level, the GOTO system fails to function. The view thru the scope is fantastic, but that does not make up for the high price for the poorly funtioning GOTO/Lightswitch features. I patiently await Meade's online software upgrades to see if things will impove, but I currently own a very expensive manual scope. Also, the voice over telling you specifics about what you are viewing becomes tiring and I have turned it off...just one more expensive feature that fails to impress.
