The filter works great on my Meade ETX 125. Perfect for lunar observing to reduce overall brightness and glare. Since it's adjustable it's much more user friendly than having to remove the eyepiece to add/remove different threaded filters.

It moves the eyepiece out far enough that the stock crawford focuser could not bring it in far enough to compensate. If you can't reach focus it is useless. I didn't measure how much this pushes the eyepiece out but I'd guess it's at least 1.5" -- unless your eyepieces are at least that far out when in focus by default then this is not going to work for you.
