This microscope is mainly for begginers such as young scientists. (Kids) It will teach them the basic functions of a microscope and help them get prepared for a more advanded microscope. I say get this microscope for your kids. They will enjoy it to no end!

Good for kids to look at everyday objects up close and in 3-D
The bottom plate (forget what it's called) on which you rest the objects scratches easily.

Obvouislly not the best, or the most scientific, but this is a great microscope for beginners learning about science. Give this one to new science-go'ers and maybe even your kids. It may not be the best, but you can still learn a LOT! Get it, I know you'd love it.

I am a hobbyist, and find this microscope useful for electronics and any task requiring a better look. I even used it to aid removal of a splinter with a needle !

When i ordered these Microscopes, i compared it with the Achiever from LW Scientific from MicroscopesUSA, I expected to be close similar than the Achiever, but they are only Toys, not to be applied in my work in Hearing aid manufacturing process. I had to give them as presents to my little son School.
