I had to take a SIGNIFICANT amount of metal off to get the front sight to fit my SRH 454. So much so that I was continually afraid I was taking too much. After two sessions of light filing with files, stones, and then finally dremel, it fit. The rear sight installation was a cinch. I think they are a definite upgrade to the factory sights, but for the price I would've hoped for them to fit easier (only minor modification necessary). I think Meprolight needs to re-visit the design for the front sight of this model.
