I have several gun manufacturer specific sight installation tools, the Meprolight U.S.I.T. Universal Sight Installation Tool 40440, P500 Universal Sight Tool Kit and many other sight drift or installation tools. By far the KIMPRO is the best value for the money out there! It is more expensive than a single gun specific MGW brand tool but fills the function of about 5 of them. There is always a compromise no one tool does it all but this one is really close. I really like the 2-way clamping action made easy and the fine front sight contact potential. This is not the "go to" for pinned, stuck or just down-right tight or stubborn sights. You can read my other review for the MeproLight U.S.I.T to get some of the pros and cons for it as compared to the KIMPRO. I like the KIMPRO for my range bag and it is now my "go to first" tool even in the shop 90% of the time. If you are looking to buy your first sight pusher and have the potential need for more than one brand of pistol; start here. If you already have a specific MGW and are looking to expand this would also be a good choice. I'd have zero reservation about buying this tool again.
