I have looked through optics that leave your wallet with nothing but dust bunnies inside. This scope has just as good of clarity as those expensive scopes, however, it is just a small fraction of the cost. HUGE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!!

Excellent optics especially for the price. Quality glass with a great finish. This is the second one I have purchased and couldn't be happier.

This is the first precision riflescope I have ever bought. I didn't want to spend $thousands on a scope, and this had good reviews so I bought it. I boresighted it, but it was only a few clicks off even at 100 yards. It seems to shoot consistently, clicks out and back with no problem. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I like it. I learned to shoot with open sights in the Marine Corps, so this makes shooting seem very very easy.
Very Impressed!!

Pros: Crystal Clear, Very clear in low light conditions, Great Price
Cons: Cloudy at 16X, Cheap lens covers

I was very impressed with this scope and so were my friends. I have it mounted on my Ar-15 in 6.8mm. I was also shopping for a spotting scope to use for target practicing. I am glad I waited to purchase the spotting scope because I found out that I do not need it. This Millet scope is so clear I can see my holes and 223 holes from other shooters at 200 yards without any problems. The 30mm tube makes so much difference with collecting light that there is no problem with low light conditions. That's the positive things about the scope, now here are the negitive things. Come on, for a $300 scope did you really think there would be no negitives. At full power(16X)as you can read in other reviews there is cloudyness. The scope is crystal clear all the way until 16X but not at 16X. Back down a little and everything is fine. The other negitive is that the lens caps are very cheap. The second time out of the rifle case and I already had a broken lens cover. Those two things I feel are very minor ...

Good bang for the buck. Using it on a CZ452 as a trainer. Like that the parallax can be adjusted down to 10 yards. Glass is very clear!

It's really not bad for the money. I've used it with good results on my .308. Don't be expecting high-quality glass or top-notch construction, but for a starter tactical scope it's hard to beat.

This is a great piece of glass for the money...but. The windage adjustment turret was stripped on the first one I received. Getting the replacement from Millett was fairly painless so that's a plus but I still wasn't thrilled about it being DOA without getting to use it. Now, 2 years later I can say that I'm very happy with the scope. The adjustment turretts are a little bit softer than I'd like, but it is a $300 scope not $2k. The clarity is great and the parallax adjustment works flawlessly. The illuminated reticle is a nice feature but I haven't found it to be of great benefit because I don't shoot at night. All in all this was a great scoped for the money and I'm happy with the purchase. Scope is mounted on a Savage Model 10FCP-K.
windage adjustment index cap stuck to adjustment mechanism.

Pros: a good scope if you're going to sight it in once and never adjust for firing solution
Cons: adjustment mechanism is low quality mechanically
Would recommend: no

the index cap on windage adjustment knob that you are supposed to be able to index to zero 0 after you sight it in became stuck to the adjustment mechanism. in other scope the cap comes all the way off , you sight in the scope to 0, then take the cap off and put it back on in the 0 position index mark. on this model you cant take the caps all the way off. on this one you back out the retaining screw, pull the cap out to disengage it from the adjustment mechanism, turn the cap to 0, push it back down and screw in the retaining screw.. Well on my scope this worked the first time i sighted it in but not the second time i tried to re index the cap. but it became stuck to the adjustment mechanism. while trying to re index the cap after sighting it in at 200 yards i spun the adjustment mechanism.. do you know how hard it is to get your bullets back on paper at 200 yds? I sent it back to the factory for repair. i havent got it back yet. I wont be buying any more Millet tactical scopes.

Very pleased to this point with the scope. It has completely held zero under some pretty stiff recoil. I will be purchasing another one in the near future.
