I was looking for a reasonably priced scope with parallax adjustment, tactical turrets, Mil Dots with half Mil hash marks and up to 20 X magnification for my 26" varmint Rem 700 220 Swift. After quite a bit of research and reading previous reviews of this Millet scope I bought one. I like that it came with sunshade and flip up lens caps. Setup and sighting in was easy, although the windage adjustment on mine sticks a bit. At the range I usually drop the rifle 6" onto its butt to set the windage - I expect it will loosen up with time. Adjusting the dials to zero after sighting in was straightforward. I briefly checked vertical tracking at 100 m by firing a three shot group then adjusting the dial up 3 MOA and firing another 3 shotter, the new group centre moved up 85 mm +/- 3mm, and calculated 3 MOA at this range was 87 mm. The spacing between the Mil Dots at 16x at 100 yards was near enough to 5 inches (not 3.6 inches as expected). This makes the intermediate hash marks equivalent to approx. 2.5 inches at 100 yards, giving an approximate spacing of -7.5" at 300 yards for the first hash mark, -20" at 400 yards for the first Mil Dot, and -37.5" at 500 yards for the second hash mark (cf. either 243 100 gn BTSP or 270 130 gn SP trajectories at 3000 fps with 200 yard zero). It means with a bit of work on my ballistics charts I can use the Mil Dots & hash marks for quick holdover shots. First time in the field I used it to shoot 31 feral goats at ranges out to 330 yards and one magpie at 220 yards. Second time out 21 feral goats at ranges out to 240 yards. The large parallax knob was easy to adjust, and I liked the intermediate click stop at 10x - after using it at 16X I adjust it down to a lower magnification and around 10x is a useful place to stop. The Z4 (4-16) magnification range is very useful for close to distant shots. The crosshair is not too thick - at 16x you can easily draw a bead on a magpie at 400 yards or quarter a goat's head at 500+ yards. Clarity is pretty good -it's not a Leupold Mk 4 on the cheap (I also have a Mk 4 6.5-20x50 with TMR) but it is a much more than adequate varmint scope. Would I buy another one? - yes (... it arrived a couple of days ago, is already on my Brno 243 and the windage and elevation adjustments on this new one track perfectly). Given the proviso of the limited time I have owned it I think it is a great value-for-money varmint scope, recommended with bells on!
