Pros:  Size for application, price, 6 clamping screws
Cons:  Aluminum
Would recommend:  yes

Purchased the 'low' set of these 35mm rings to replace the rings that came with the a Millett LRS 35mm scope. The rings that come standard with the scope are way, WAY too high. These fit the bill nicely. Work perfectly for clearance on the LRS-1 scope on my rifle, have excellent holding power, and the best price for 35mm (decent) rings. I could ask for steel construction, but for the price it just wouldn't happen. And, Opticsplanet had the best price, by far on these rings.

Pros:  Cheap and Stout
Cons:  Too high

These rings are the "Low Rings", the High rings came with the scope and are so high they are unusable. These are still a good half inch too high, making a cheek piece a must. Overall a good buy for the cost.

more expensive than the high rings for less actual metal - I find it odd that the Millett scopes ship with the high rings instead of these.

Good solid rings for high caliber rifles. This is my second set and will continue to purchase them. For the money they are a good value. Alignment has been good on both sets.

I purchased the Millett 6-25x56mm BK1008 from Opticsplanet and it is a great scope for the price! Would like to see ultra low rings in this line along with a small picattiny rail as some of their other models have.

Would recommend:  yes

Got the low ring set to solve the too high problem of the rings that come with the Millet LRS-1. Considering other brand 35 mm rings are about two to three times the price it's a good deal. The rings have held fast on my 300 WM. Too bad they don't come in the ATAC Camo that my LRS-1 comes in.

Pros:  Great product
Cons:  Should state exact height of the sizes
Would recommend:  yes

Lead Dispenser wrote:

This is a great 35mm mount. Unfortunaly it will not fit a FN Herstal SCAR 17s due to the full rail. That is if you are using the Millet 6-25x56 LRS-1 scope. You will need the medium rings instead. A regular style hunting rifle should be able to use the low rings. Be sure to get rings that get your scope as close to the barrel as possible.

Pros:  Good fit, rugged, good value
Would recommend:  yes

stukpedal wrote:

I have these on my Savage 12 with an EGW 20 moa scope base, using the Millett 6-25x56 (35mm tube) scope. The scope came with the high rings, which were very high. The low rings lowered the scope about .4", leaving a gap of about 1/4" between the scope and the barrel. After shopping around, these seemed to be my best alternative. Thanks Optics Planet for the good price and fast shipping.
