Wrong rings in package

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, MN Written on April 19, 2014
Wrong rings in package. Received the HIGH rings in the LOW ring package.

Have the high rings on rifle already, too high. Need low rings for proper cheek weld.
Pros: Solid rings
Cons: The rings I received were the HIGH .894 rings in the LOW ring package...

Great rings for 35mm optics on Pic rail

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on October 1, 2013
These mounts are rock solid and do the job. They handle the hard to find 35mm scope tubes where there are few options without going through the roof on cost. Mounting can take a while with 12 mounting screws to seat carefully, but when done, there is no doubt that the scope will stay in place. The clamp screws are easy to use, making removing and remounting the optic simple and quick. In use on a flat top AR. Great value.
Pros: Good price, solid, easy on and off
Cons: Not as refined as more expensive alternatives...

By far the best rifle scope rings I have ever used. Also I needed this 35MM size
which was unavilable in Canada. Glad you folks have such great stuff.

Millett Low Rings in 35mm

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MT Written on March 5, 2013
Perfect fit on my Rem 700. The high rings that come standard with the Millett LRT 6x25x56 are too high. These are perfect. Solid and perfect fit. Optics Planet has the others beat by $25 on price.
Pros: Solid, Perfect height, Good Price...

Good value for the money

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CO Written on February 18, 2013
The rings that come with Millet scopes are like sky scrapers! These low profile rings definately help with ergonomics. I think I will still have to use a cheek riser, but whaty a deal for 35mm rings! We'll see if they can stand up to 338 Lapua recoil.

great quality

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, SC Written on January 27, 2013
I purchased the millet low rings after receiving my millet lrs1. This was going on a 700 sps tactical. So far, I love the rings, but I could stand to use them a touch lower. Right now, they are about 1/4 inch from the barrel.
Pros: sturdy rings good price.
Cons: Not quite low enough...

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, NC Written on August 20, 2012
I have 2 millet long ramge skopes with 35mm tubes and one millet tactical scope with 30mm tube the long range scopes come with high rings witch will probably work well with a flat top aplication. i mounted them on a remmington 700 heavy barell with 20 moa picinairy rail. bought medeum rings then low rings and still have room between objective lens and barrel. from high rings to medeum drop is close to 1/4 in. from medeum to low drop is close to 1/8 in. good luck great stuff for the buck....

Solid rings

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on July 16, 2012
These rings are very solid. It's doesn't get much easier to install than the Picatinny-style mount.

My Millett LRS-1 scope came with high rings, but my scope above bore was too high for my liking, so I purchased a set of these in Low. They fit perfectly on my Savage 110BA, and there is just enough room to get the objective lens cover on (they too, came with the scope).

As always, Optics Planet was a pleasure to deal with.
Pros: Excellent Fit and Finish

Met the need for the right price

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, NV Written on July 3, 2012
Purchased the 'low' set of these 35mm rings to replace the rings that came with the a Millett LRS 35mm scope. The rings that come standard with the scope are way, WAY too high. These fit the bill nicely. Work perfectly for clearance on the LRS-1 scope on my rifle, have excellent holding power, and the best price for 35mm (decent) rings. I could ask for steel construction, but for the price it just wouldn't happen. And, Opticsplanet had the best price, by far on these rings.
Pros: Size for application, price, 6 clamping screws
Cons: Aluminum...

Still high Low Rings

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on June 11, 2012
These rings are the "Low Rings", the High rings came with the scope and are so high they are unusable. These are still a good half inch too high, making a cheek piece a must.
Overall a good buy for the cost.
Pros: Cheap and Stout
Cons: Too high...
