Bad A$$ good glass all the features i wanted

by Jason, from United States, TX Written on April 10, 2015
Nice scope. My rifle slid off the wall and smashed into hard tile floor.... Scope as OK.
Optics just as clear or better than my buddies vortex razor hd. He had a cooler reticle, but I had better adjustments and side focus and lit reticale. its big and i love big. sucks my range is only 300.Mounted to a rem 700 aac sd supressed, hand loads sub MOA at 300. for some reason it sucks at 100.... IDK WTF its good to go. dont pay twice as more for a scope, the chinks made this one good. will buy again...

Millett 6-25x56mm LRS

by Brent, from Australia, QLD Written on February 16, 2015
I fitted this scope to my 308 Browning A-Bolt.
This is an Excellent alround Scope.
The scope looks to be sturdy & well manufactured.
I think this is the best scope on the market for the price (MONEY) outlayed.
I will be buying another of this same scope for my next rifle....
Pros:
  • Price, well made

I would highly recommend this scope. I have it on a savage heavy barrel. I have it 0ed at 300yds. I have taken shots and am very happy out to 800 yds. I will be putting on my 338 that is being built right now.

Millett 6-25 scope

by Ft Bragg soldier, from United States, NC Written on December 9, 2014
it is a good scope, large field of view. looks well built. Glass not a clear as German optics but a good lower priced scope. Easy to use windage and elevation adjustments. Very good scope rings, note being that they are 35 mm you have to use a weaver mount on weapon or Picatinny Rail. I recommend the scope for AR applications...

Outstanding Scope

by Russ, from United States, FL Written on November 27, 2014
I own a Leupold scope, and honestly cannot tell a difference between it's performance and the Millet, and the Millet is less than half the price of a comparable Leupold. This is one of three Millet scopes that I now own, and don't think I'll purchase another brand. The LRS is a monster in terms of size, which takes a little getting accustomed to, even if just in terms of appearance. It does make it more challenging to case a rifle with the scope attached (you need a big case), so I've had to remove the scope from the rifle for transportation and storage in my safe. It provides plenty of eye relief for shooting larger rifles, and has as clear a view as possible. The mil-dot reticle is larger than I have seen on any other brand, and the illumination lights up the entire marked section of the reticle extremely well. The magnification adjustment ring is clearly marked to identify the point at which the mil-dot ranging is at its baseline, i.e. 1mil = 3.6" @ 100 yards, and given the high range for magnification, it offers the ability to halve the baseline to 1 mil = 1.8" @ 100 yards. For a variable power scope like this, I think that is an awesome feature. I have not fired the rifle upon which I mounted this scope, but the others I own, including another LRS, we're easy to sight. After bore sighting, about five to eight shots has put me right on the mark. I have never had an easier time sighting a scope. The only thing I cannot comment on is their durability. I treat th...

Great Scope

by Ron, from United States, OH Written on August 31, 2014
Mounted on AR varmint rifle used for target at 200 yards. Excellent, and would surely be good for 500 yards. Size and weight is high, but just part of higher power scopes. For the sale price and excellent buy....

Outstanding high power rifle scope

by USMC, from United States, MA Written on August 27, 2014
Purchased this to replace a Leupold
that failed and after three replacements went with this scope on the recommendation of a fellow 50BMG RIFLE shooter. He has had his on a Barrett and over 400 rounds later he still can reach out to 1000 yards
I mounted and bore sighted the scope on my 50 and the first thing you notice is the massive tube. The included rings are extreme my heavy and well built. The clarity out to 800 yards, my range longest field , was clear. After 75 rounds it's held zero and would recommend for anyone who wants a great priced scope that would be perfect for 50BMG 300 Win Mag or 338. I highly recommended this scope....

Jon C Millet LRS

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 25, 2013
Overall the scope is an awesome deal. The rings provided are too high. I guess they do that to ensure it fits any rifle. Also the turrets don't feel solid. The rear lens cover has a hard time staying on. I used it in 30 degree weather while raining and it performed perfectly. Mounted on Savage 110 FCP .338 Lapua.
Pros: Very clear at full power. Holds zero with .338 Lapua.
Cons: Turrets feel mushy. ...
