Excellent scope for the money. I had a chance to compare it side by side with a Night Force NX and the Night Force gets a 10, this scope gets an 8 Rings are good quality but to high. They should offer a hite option for the free rings.

Pros:  Magnification, bright, lighted ret.
Cons:  HUGE, heavy, made in China
Would recommend:  yes

Juscain wrote:

"Only the best from Millett, an American company" all over the box, found it ironic that it was made in China. But anyway, this is a great scope for the money. After reading mixed reviews I was hesitant, but am very happy with it so far. Mounted on a flat top AR the included rings are just about perfect. Optics are not the best (you get what you pay for), but they are pretty good. I replaced a 6-24 Tasco with this one and it is a night and day difference. This is not something you would want on a hunting rifle, it is huge and heavy, but it is great on a target/varmint rig. Don't be scared of this thing, it is a great scope for the money. If it just didn't have that made in China sticker on it.......i would pay more for it.

This is a excellent rifle scope and have not had to re-zero it. I would put this scope up against a night-force scope any day.

Author: Method (verified customer) from Los Angeles, ca on Mar 26, 2011
Pros:  Very clear optics, great recticle, holds zero, looks cool!
Cons:  Enormous scope, standard ring are way too high
Would recommend:  yes

Method wrote:

I love this scope, it's a superb value for the money. The optics are crystal clear, even in low light, and the zoom abilities are amazing. I compared this scopes clarity and brightness side by side on 9x magnification to a bushnell, redfield, leupold, barska, BSA, center point, niko sterling, and cabels brand scopes and the millett blew all of them away in clarity and brightness (with the exception of the leupold, which was equal in performance, yet much more expensive) Also after over 500 rounds with my .308, it has nicely held it's zero. For the money this scope is amazing. It is an enormous scope, very long (especially with sun shade on), massive tube (35mm) tall adjustment knobs, and overall massive girth. If you run out of bullets you can take the scope off and use it as a bat! If you want for a really cool looking and medium priced scope that has excellent optic capabilities and can clealy see past 800 yards (and you don't mind the size) then this is a great buy. ...

Pros:  Decent scope for the money, Adjustable brightness illuminated reticle.
Cons:  Very large, Can get a little hazy at high power.
Would recommend:  yes

Varminter wrote:

Not a scope that you want to pack 5 miles into the woods. I use it for varmints and wanted a good scope to reach out and see a long distance. This scope does it. I was a little leary about the quality from reading some of the reviews, but for the most part its a really solid scope. Only problem so far is that the from lens cap broke on a day when it was 10 degrees out.

Pros:  Rugged Design
Cons:  Big and Heavy
Would recommend:  yes

Very good scope for the money. clear and bright optics, positive engagement of turrets, nice adjustability in reticle brightness. Supplied rings are good quality although a little tall for my particular application. fit and finish is great. It is also nice to have the included extras of the lens covers. I would recomend this scope for all but the very picky professional shooter.

Pros:  Low cost and dead on
Cons:  Heavy, Little fuzzy at high magnification
Would recommend:  yes

Mikes wrote:

The scope is mounted on an A-Bolt shooting 30-06 Springfield. I have put several boxes (160 rounds) through and can say I am shooting sub MOA groups (nickles and dimes) at 100 yards. I highly recommend lock-tite on all the screws, otherwise the scope moved, even when torqued to spec. There is a bit of bleed from the illuminated crosshairs at night when not using an alternate light source. The included rings cause a really high mount (2.5")on a rifle which you need to take into account in your ballistics tables. My software allows this to be inputted so my charts work.

I have set up 2 savage FP tactical rifles a .300 win mag and a .233 rem I swap the scope between the two with very little adjustment needed, holds well out to 1000yd. The finish has started to fade. I carry this on my .223 every day out on the ranch it is rugged takes a beating bouncing around in a pickup every day and still holds it's 0!!
