The best of many tried.

by Melvin-Purvis, from United States, MT Written on December 11, 2014
I bought this vertical grip while on a spree of buying several similar; Magpul, H&K, and others. By far the best grip of four purchased (Can't remember the name of the fourth, but it's one of the most sold; ergo something) - this grip is spectacular in comparison to the others. Highly recommended. Good quality for the price, and just a great piece of gear. Very happy and would buy again....

As usual.....

by Larry, from United States, MI Written on November 13, 2014
....virtually any product by Mission First will be an excellent value made of top quality materials. Optics Planet always seems to add to the value of a product by including various discounts allowing even more savings than purchasing at retail prices. In my case I had received an earlier coupon for 10% off. For those of us who choose a foregrip for their firearms, I prefer a shorter version so that I can minimize the weight added to it, and also to insure I add no interference to my bipod. In addition to manufacturing the grip with quality materials, the grip has a convenient storage space that I use for batteries, allen wrenches and myriad other small gizmos. Attachment is simple and very well secured to the picatinny rails of my quad-rail, especially if you secure the attachment device with Loc-Tite or a similar product. In summary, the product is well-made, performs very well, and has a better price than comparable products. Bravo Zulu to Mission First and to Optics Planet....

MFT short vertical grip

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on June 16, 2014
In the monopolized industry of polymer weapon add-ons, it's nice to branch out every once in a while. This grip isn't as short as some of its competitors but as a result, there is more storage space. I can easily fit two spare AA batteries for my eotech in there. The grip locks onto my rail very firmly and there is no risk of it coming off. The texture is very ergonomic. This grip is built to last a while and I highly reccomend it.

MFT React Short Vertical Grip

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, OR Written on June 30, 2013
Great grip. It comes with a plug with dividers to be able to store items in the grip that should be water tight. The texture is nice. It is aggressive enough to get a good grip, but not so aggressive that it tears up your hand....

Very good Medium size grip

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, NH Written on March 7, 2013
I picked this up to see how it stood up against the TROY Modular VG, TAPCO Shorty and Magpul Angled VG. MFT has some really nice products and Ive come to look to them when replacing items on both the AR and AK. This fills the gap between shorty grips and full size ones. Its a really nice VG and theyve got a cool compartment in most of their gear. The only issue, other then trying to find the Scorched Dark earth vs the FDE, is that the factory stippling on their products is fairly slick, I wrap CamoForm around most anyway but that might be an issue for you.
Pros: Very comfortable, great storage, quality made
Cons: like all MFT the stippling is to slick and the FDE is to Pinkish in color...

Worth every penny.

I debated on buying the name brand fore grip that everyone knows, but I wanted a short VFG with a sealed compartment to store batteries, the other did not offer this feature and it was more expensive. I don't regret my purchase for a second. It fits perfect, the size is right an the grip texture is nice.
Pros: Sealed compartment to store batteries or other things
Cons: None. ...

Worth the investment

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on November 3, 2011
I bought this without any experience using a vertical forend grip on a carbine. I have to say it improves your shooting experience. Mounted at the very end of my picatinny rail, it allows many different carry/fire options. The MFT grip is well made and extremely comfortable. No sharp edges or snag points. For the price, definitely worth trying.
Pros: American made, comfortable, nice looking design
Cons: None...
