worth buying

by smitz8500, from United States, PA Written on March 11, 2015
Well built. Very happy for the money
Haven't shot it much to see if it holds zero. I mounted it on a REM 870 express 12 ga
Really clear dot as well. I've had other cheaper sights that felt ... cheap. This isn't so
I'll probably buy more...

mueller quick shot

by Doug, from United States, IN Written on March 9, 2015
Got the camo version for my Mossberg 835. My shotgun is camo'd in realtree max-4 and the mueller matches pretty well. I played indoors wirh a 12 Guage laser bore sighter and got it close pretty quick. I've only shot 3 3.5" turkey loads through it so far and it's stayed right where I put it. I will pattern it soon for turkey when I pick up more ammo and the weather cooperates. Very happy with this optic so far. If I had to pick something negative, it would be the height from the receiver as I'm used to fiber rifle sightd but it's something I can adjust to. Great optic!!...

Poor optics

by Patrick Murray, from United States, WA Written on September 22, 2014
I read every review posted on this site and made the decision to purchase based on the reviews and price point. OP sent with free shipping and was delivered in a prompt fashion. I will say that OP packs very well. Upon opening the box, I could see that the Mueller's frame was well constrcuted and the unit fit perfectly on the rail of my AR15. The downside: The right reticle was off axis leading me to believe there was a flaw in the glass causing the distortion. I suppose that this issue is rather moot since it is a CQC sight and I would not be using the axis reticles but rather the center dot for shot alignment. Be that as it may, I would not want to have to think about the flaw every time I used the weapon. I believe you get what you pay for and a $100 optic is going to be prone to issues. Guess I am buying the Meprolight Mako....

Easy , Nice

by MP, from United States, NC Written on September 5, 2014
Put this on a Ruger 10/22 stainless with camo stock and it matches perfect, easy to mount. Shot 5 shots from 45 yards and it was 6" low, 3" left. adjusted 1 time and it was right on the money. It has 4 different settings, a small and larger red dot, and 2 different crosshairs ( very cool) and 9 brightness settings. Looks very well made and even come with a extra battery..... Very satisfied...:-)(-:...

Superb Red Dot Sight for 10mm

by Mike, from United States, NC Written on July 30, 2014
The Mueller red dot sight comes packed with many features more expensive sights do not have. It offers auto-intensity adjustment and the ability to adjust to 10 different manual settings. Additionally, it offers the user up to 4 different reticles that range from a 3 MOA to a 5 MOA dot as well as two additional reticles. This unit stretches battery life and uses the very common 2032 watch battery that is easily found for $.75 at Walmart and most all drug stores. The unit is light weight and mounted easily to my Tanfoglio 10mm Witness using an UM-3 Universal Tactical pistol mount. This sight brought back the joy of pistol shooting and made shooting .75" - 1.25" 5 shot groups at 25 yards fairly common once sight was zeroed. Many of the shots "clover-leafed" with a flyer once in a while. However, I was using cheap "no-name" ammo I brought from the internet. So far, I would highly recommend this product (and give it a higher score than 5 stars), to anyone who enjoys the joy of shooting an automatic pistol. Kudo's to the mount and sight for easily handling the recoil of a 10mm gone wild!...

fine optic. auto adjust works perfectly.

by ladOR, Verified Owner from United States, OR Written on June 23, 2014
The Auto adjust sold me in the spec sheet. Seeing, handling and using the sight did the rest. This is one super quality optic in every way. Wish they made it in 3/8" dovetail. Had to put a picatinny rail adapter on my air gun to use it
Pros: Very well made. Auto adjust elimiates re-adjusting while shooting.
Cons: would like a 3/8" dovetail model. ...

Just Plain Good

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, NJ Written on May 29, 2014
Fully multi-coated glass is usually found in much more expensive units, this is why I chose Mueller; and also because of their good reputation. When you switch reticles the knob is very smooth. I also have an EOTech, but I love the Mueller cuz more features.
Pros: Nice reticle, fully multi-coated glass, holds zero
Cons: none...

great features for a great value

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on April 6, 2014
I really liked the size of the reticle, the brightness settings, and being able to choose between the 4 different sight dots; all for $100. However, i put it on my shotgun and would have to re-sight it every trip to the range. probably great on a smaller caliber rifle like an M4/ar15.
Pros: great features: large reticle, 1-10 brightness, and 4 sight options
Cons: not reliable for bigger gun calibers...
