These bottles are perfect for their intended purpose. The wide mouth is easy to fill and makes them easy to clean. When the lid is on they will not leak. The spout can be cut at the desired position to adjust the opening size and the amount of liquid that comes out when you squeeze the bottle. The spout is connected to the bottle but does not open out into the main part of it until it reaches the very bottom, so holding the bottle upright you can easily squeeze all the liquid out the spout. There is no reason to ever tilt the bottle. I use these for filling kerosene lanterns and they work perfectly and never make a mess.
