This was my first scope for my bushmaster. I've only used it once, but am very pleased with the qaulity and design. Great scope for the price. Optics planet has the best selection...

Great Value

The first scope sent had canted cross hairs but Optics Planet quickly replaced with a new unit hassle free. The replacement was perfect and mounted easily. This is a good looking tactical scope and perfect for any back yard plinker. The scope is a fantastic value for what it is made for.
Pros: Easy set up, looks great, good value
Cons: None so far....

Pretty good

I got this for a compact scope for my AR. I actually like the optic, seems to hold zero pretty well. My only complaint is that the mount is pretty crappy. It's lop sided which makes the scope sit unlevel. Other than that it's pretty good. My rifle isn't in .223 cal so I cant comment on the BDC turret....

Great scope for the price

This is a really great scope. It's compact, light, and easy to use. The helpful markings on the elevation and windage turrets telling you which way the sight picture will move when you turn them makes it really easy to zero the scope, and the bullet drop compensator is also very useful. The variable magnification makes this a great scope for a variety of ranges, although it adjusts slowly so don't expect to switch from 4x to 1.25x very quickly. My one and only complaint about this scope is that the illumination is worthless. In low light conditions, the illumination is too bright even at the lowest setting, so the entire sight picture is obscured. Other than that one minor quibble, this is a scope I would highly recommend.
Pros: Variable magnification, quick detach, easy to zero
Cons: Illumination doesn't work well...

Great Buy

(comment for the handrail mount) I have a dpms panther 20", .223. Needed a scope that i could adjust for close to far distances, had enough features to compliment any situation, and still be able to use the iron sights. This scope fell under all the above. Easy set-up, red or green illuminated recticle(which has a low/high strength and on/off), x100y dial on top for bullet drop comp., easy zoom and quick focus....it had it all. Highly recommended.
Pros: looks great, easy set-up, lots of features
Cons: havn't found one yet...
