If you look at (or through, rather) this indoors at the lowest magnification, it's not that bad. God help you if you try to use this beyond 15x, though. Cranking the power essentially makes it unuseable, as you have to spend all of your time trying to move your eye around in to find the 'sweet spot' - if you EVER find it. And if you do somehow manage to be able to look through it at the highest magnification, the clarity is so poor you can't distinguish anything anyway. Most shower doors have clearer glass.

It's hard to recommend this item because the eyepiece is so poorly built, cheap plastic, not even high quality plastic. It has good optics, appears to be all glass, and the scope body is of good quality, and I like the color through the scope, nice coatings. The eyepiece works well between 20-30x, but at low powers, the image drops way back into the scope, and the edges become very blurry. At the highest powers, blue chromatic error starts to become very high in contrast scenes, probably do to the short focal length of the objective.
