I am a design engineer and this is a poor design. No room for flip up caps, the base is in the center and should have been toward the front. Scope the way back on the AR yeilds a 13" of pull for eye relief.Range finder is nice, but too bright at low settings. Made by short people for a short length of pull! AR scopes need to be postioned with a forward base to use a six postion or full AR stock. You can move a scope forward but you cannot move this scope backward. Good for a kids airsoft gun. The 3-9 power would be worse because it has less eye relief than this 2-7 Power. Good concept, bad engineering!

I like this scope alot. First off I think it is a good value, it is very clear and sturdy for an under $100 scope. It held it's zero fine on a Mossberg 590A1. It has quite a few useful features, the most obvious is the large amount of rail slots. I mounted a Bushnell mini red dot on top of this scope and it works really well. The fact that you don't need to buy rings to mount it is a plus. If you don't want the rails they can easily be removed along with mount. This leaves you with a small tube scope you can mount with standard rings. It is pretty small which is why I bought it to begin with. The illuminated reticle is nice, I have the mill dot version. My biggest complaint is that on the illumination 1 is not that much less than 7, so at late dusk you get a little blue reflection on the inside of the tube, no big deal though. If you are into looks, this is very tacticool. I would buy another one if I needed one. I am surprised there are not more reviews of this one.

Pros:  Clear sighting, sharp mil-dot, good eye relief, holds accuracy, works well with NCStar quick release mount, three rail system
Cons:  Heavy due to rail system, reticle was offset from factory, power adjustment is a little hard to use
Would recommend:  yes

This is a great looking scope an AR15. I used an NCStar quick release mount, so I could use my factory iron sights for close range shots. It mounted up easy although I did have to adjust the mil-dots angle. I set the center for 100 yards. I have put over 200 rounds through it and it is still holding true. The mount holds true as well. I have taken the scope off, shot 20 rounds, and then put the scope back on. The scope continued to holding true. The other day I went to the range and shot it at 200 yards. I was able to put 8 out of 10 in a 3 inch center (never shot at 200 with an AR before). The blue illumination is cool at night and during the day. I have never used the illumination, but it is nice to have. I would have purchased one for my sons 10/22, but it is a little too heavy for him.

Use: Target shooting 200 yards / predator hunting. Platform: DPMS Panther 5.56 Oracle. Other Accessories: NcStar NC-FL-AQPTF LED Flashlight. I chose this scope to add a NcStar LED light. I can flip the light on and put rounds in the 10 ring at 50 yards in the dark. The light mounted to the scope instead of the hand guard is the key. No obstructions and the illumination is right where you need it. Shooting at 100 yrds is effortless. 200 yrds feels like 100, so much so that we measured it to be sure (not kidding). Crystal clear optics and the ELECTRIC BLUE illumination are perfect on a black silhouette. Making 200 yard clusters easy with a 16 carbine. I dont have a fat wallet but I like good gear that makes up a system. This scope with a light on one side and a laser on the other is a sport tactical dream. I own a black gun but Im a precision shooter. On 2X you can leave both eyes open with a little practice and raise into an quick accurate shot. On 7X lean in a little ...
