I read several reviews on this mount saying it wouldn't fit. The only other one I found cost about $100. This one does fit my H&K MP5 .22LR. The data on this states it doesn't fit. I decided to try it for, $12 what the hell. When I first tried to put it on It didn't seem that it would fit. I could get the claws on the right side, but couldn't get it far enough over to put the clamps on, they seemed to be at an angle and wouldn't sit straight. I found if you hold the brackets away from the mount and then start the screw it does fit. It is tight, really tight, but it is holding up and does the job. So there you go it does fit the H&K MP5 .22LR made by Walther.

Item fit the applicaton exactly, with no trouble, such as filing or other modifications required. Checked price of this item at local sporting goods store and they said they could order it and the cost would be 78 DOLLARS!!!!

It tightened down with no problem (the screws didnt strip). No directions; but easy to instal without them. seems rock solid. I will have to see if the "cetme's" recoil will be more than it can handle. Free shiping, next day delivery and a very low price "not bad at all!

Although it takes a little force to snap it on,once installed on my GSG-5 it is solid. I have one on a carbine and a pistol with scopes mounted. Works fine!

No installation instructions included. Screw stripped out during installation. I Doubt that this would have ever handled recoil from a centerfire rifle.

Easily fit onto my Century Arms CETME. A little tight to the rear site base, but worked fine. Lined up on receiver straight and narrow. Haven't shot rifle yet but will let know if there is any play with the mount

I used this mount to place a Tasco red dot sight on a GSG-5 (.22 LR replica of an HK MP5). Truth be told, I was expecting a cheap crappy mount, especially for the price. Fortunately, the mount has held up well for plinking and range use, although I haven't tried fast-roping out of a Blackhawk with it to assault a Taliban cave complex :) Important note for attaching the mount to the GSG-5 - the little slot on the left rear side of the rail (just next to the left rear leg) snaps over the raised portion of the top of the GSG-5 receiver. I spent a few minutes trying to slide it on from the front (and almost beating on it with a brass hammer) before I sat back, thought about it, and saw the light.
Worked out great

Pros: Cheap, low-profile, sturdy
Cons: Doesn't fit properly; not even close.
Would recommend: no

Sure, it's cheap. But you get what you pay for. Yeah, it's all metal and relatively sturdy (although the screw threads are easily stripped). But it doesn't fit a standard MP5 upper receiver claw mount. Maybe I missed something in the description? Bottom line: I've got two other standard claw-mount rail systems designed for a standard MP5, and they fit my CA A2 just fine. But not this one. Have to tap straight into the upper-receiver.
Nice, but... DOES NOT work on GSG-5

Another reviewer says he mounted this on his gsg-5, so I bought it. There is NO way this mount comes even close to fitting on this gun without a lot of cutting or filing of metal. the bottom side is flat and the gsg-5 has a catch that sticks up about 3-4mm that prevents it from mounting. Too bad because it is a great price.
